#3 Set up your own blog.
#4 Register your blog.
Creating a blog on blogger was very simple. I have used blogger with my students only somewhat successfully. Not all of my students have an email account which makes it difficult to respond to posts. If anybody knows a way around this, please share!
I have used Wordpress a little, but I found blogger much easier. The other difficulty I have had trying to blog at school is that many sites are blocked.
There was an interesting article in Techlearning on blogging that really made me look at the way blogs are used in schools. I am including a link to the article.

Week 1
#1 Find out more about the program
# 2 Watch The Seven and ½ Habits tutorial
This first week has been exciting; I’m looking forward to all the new information I’m going to learn! Watching the tutorial, Seven and 1/2 Habits of Highly Successful Lifelong Learners made me realize how much some people, especially in education are constantly learning. In the tutorial it mentioned the beliefs of lifelong learners, one being that “Attitude is everything,” and the second “It’s never too late or too soon to learn something.” These two beliefs are the most powerful to me and what divides people who are life long learners and people that sit and watch the world go by.
